Just across the street from the Alamodome, Cherrity Bar is excited to welcome San Antonio Artist of the Year finalist, Matthew Ryan for a two-hour live music performance on the outdoor stage. [Mark.], is a solo artist born and raised in San Antonio, Tejas. Performed by Mark Perez and Damien Jay, accented with heavy bass drum pads and synthesizers. [Mark.] first began performances with Alamo Music at 11 years old within their “School of Rock” program. After which, he developed his writing, composition, and production while performing in various coffee shops, open mics, and bookstores acoustically. Currently on his fifth solo release, [Mark.]’s sound has undergone many eras and evolutions while preserving strong melodies and catchy hooks. From beach wave indie to underground experimental, [Mark.] isn’t afraid to take sonic leaps. Exploring the emotional space of everything unsaid allows truths to no longer be obscured. Delivering a profound clarity to his artistry.

Joslyn Daniel is an Indie R&B/Pop musician from San Antonio, TX. Her first EP, “Ruminating Thoughts” was released in May 2021. Standout track, “Venus-Mars” encapsulates the artist’s romantic and moody writing style. Joslyn’s most recent release is a track titled, “Split In Two” which explores a fun, dance-oriented sound, while maintaining the idealistic, almost delusional narrative she is known for. Expect more music from Joslyn Daniel, set to release in 2024.

Spread holiday cheer and support SAMMinistries at the first ever in-person Santa Bladin’! Join us Saturday, December 16 from noon to 6 PM for Santa Bladin’ - a toy drive benefitting SAMMinistries, a local non-profit in San Antonio that prevents homelessness in San Antonio through a compassionate, holistic approach that brings self-sufficiency, pride, and dignity to struggling families with nowhere else to turn. 

There are three AWESOME ways to participate:

1. bring an unwrapped toy (toddler to 18 years old)

2. dine in at Cherrity Bar purchase the Santa Bladin’ Special - you can preorder as well!

3. join the festive ride at 3 PM on your favorite kind of wheels dressed in holiday fashions and bring a bag of goodies to handout: candy, toys, dollar bills, etc. The ride leaves from Cherrity Bar at 3 PM and will return to Cherrity Bar.

Enjoy live music and happy hour from 5-7 PM with half price small plates and cocktail specials + participate in a ticketed “sip and paint” event from 7-9 PM that includes a canvas, paint set, and opportunity to work with the artists of Hearts Need Art. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit and their mission to hires and train local creatives to provide moments of joy, self-expression, and connection to people facing life-altering health challenges and those who care for them.
