January Charities of the Month Nominees
Join us all month to vote for the charity of the month! Every visit, patrons will receive a token to vote for one of the three competing charities. Don’t worry, everyone will get a little something at the end, but the charity with the most votes receives the largest prize!
Daisy Cares
Daisy Cares is a nonprofit helping keep companion animals out of shelters since 2009! They help provide access to pet food and financial assistance for urgent vet care.

Empower House
Empower House (formerly Martinez Street Women’s Center) was founded in 1999 with a mission to improve reproductive health services and access for women — primarily brown and Black women — on the East Side of San Antonio.
Since then, the nonprofit has expanded to provide community health services and education, advocacy opportunities, and youth programming – all through the lens of restorative justice.

Transplants for Children empowers children and their families to master the lifelong challenges of pediatric organ transplantation.
The Transplants for Children community was created to bring transplant families together with other families who have, will, or are currently going through the transplant process.
